About Azure Group
Azure Group was established in 2002 by Michael Derin with the idea of offering sophisticated accounting services combined with proactive strategic commercial advice to small and medium sized businesses.
Derin introduced the outsourced chief financial officer service to the SME market as he recognised that Australian small businesses rarely get appropriate strategic commercial advice. This is because they cannot afford or attract an experienced CFO normally only afforded by large corporations.

Azure Group’s vision is to deliver successful solutions by playing an active role in the development, implementation and ongoing support of our clients’ business strategies.
Since its inception Azure Group has grown considerably. The company currently has three offices, one in the Sydney CBD, one based on Queensland’s Gold Coast, and the latest addition expanding the business onto the international stage in Shanghai, China.

In 2008, Azure Group established the CFO Network which brings together CFOs to collaborate about their role in business and the industry. Azure Group regularly holds networking events for CFOs in collaboration with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
