You may have noticed that Azure Group’s website looks a little different – or a lot different.
At Azure Group we like to do things a little differently and not stick to the typical mould that defines our industry and we wanted this to be reflected in our website. We wanted to showcase that we are a boutique yet experienced accounting firm, that we are passionate about helping our clients and that we excel at what we do.
A website is a lot like a shop window. It is the first glimpse a prospective client gets of your business and if it’s not looking its best and doesn’t reflect what you have to offer, then it’s likely they’ll continue on to the next window.
Some considerations we made when redesigning our website were:
- The language and wording we used. So many websites focus on the company and what they do. If you are trying to sell your services, you need to communicate the benefits your clients will receive if they engage you.
Also being an accounting firm, much of the language used every day in our business can be complex and industry-specific, so we made sure that the language was simple to understand and in plain English - Clear and easy to use navigation. There’s nothing worse than visiting a website and not being able to find the information you need or getting confused by the complex and incomprehensible menus
- Give people a reason to come back. We wanted a site where there was a constant stream of fresh and informative content. We adopted an e-newsletter system that is housed within our website, we set up a blog and we also set up RSS feeds and social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter, to get broadcast when new information is added.
