About this CFO Network event
For nearly every CFO, the accessibility of capital is becoming an increasingly critical consideration. As the troubled European and American markets continue to cause global uncertainty, how this may affect Australia’s economy and the local capital market has been the topic of much discussion and debate.
This CFO Network discussion panel will look at:
- The impact of international financial pressures on our economy and insights on how 2012 is looking from an economical standpoint
- The current state of Australia’s capital market, including the general appetite for investment and how this is being affected by international financial pressures
- Recent deals and how they have been impacted by what’s happening globally.
We have brought together an expert panel consisting of three highly experienced financial professionals to share their insights and views on the current state of the Australian capital market: Bill Evans, Head Economist for Westpac; Jason Cachia, Investment Director for Quandrant Private Equity; and Rob Antulov, Director and Corporate Advisor for Hall Capital.

About the CFO Network
The CFO Network aims to bring together CFOs to network and share ideas with like minded professionals.
Being a CFO brings its own unique set of challenges. More often than not they operate independently with limited interaction with other finance professionals and at times they lack the opportunity to access ideas, feedback and advice from their peers.
To address this issue the CFO Network holds regular seminar events in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants on topics vital to today’s CFO. Past topics have included cloud computing, raising debt, risk management and private equity.
CFOs are also invited to join our CFO Network Australia LinkedIn group to keep up to date with events and other interesting CFO Network news.
