Stephanie Liu is the managing partner of Azure Group China office and currently sitting on the board of AustCham Shanghai. Before she transferred to China in 2012, she has supported numerous multinational clients to set up businesses in Australia and managed their Australian accounting and tax affairs. In her current role with Azure Group China office, she helps foreign businesses to understand the China markets and supports foreign businesses’ finance, Tax, HR and internal control functions in China.

HELEN LANSLEY | Senior Tax Manager – Tech & Corporate
Helen is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 17 years of professional experience in the accounting sector. Having worked with a diverse range of both private clients and large corporations across varying industries, she utilises her wealth of compliance knowledge and expertise to find effective solutions for her clients.

As the Senior Manager of our Tax Tech Division, she assists each of our Tech Clients with managing their compliance needs through every stage of their business’s lifecycle. Using a no nonsense, practical approach, she eliminates the risk of costly non-compliance issues, ensuring that her clients can focus on achieving their business objectives.

NILI NAIR | Senior Tax Manager – International & Tech
Nili has extensive experience in business accounting, financial reporting, forensic accounting, as well as taxation and compliance. Nili is CPA qualified and holds a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Accounting sector for over 12 years.

As the International & Tech Manager at Azure Group, Nili always has her clients’ best interest in mind. She works closely with our international and domestic clients across a wide range of industries to facilitate their ongoing finance, taxation and compliance needs.

Jerry Zhang is a Manager in tax working with both private clients and firms larger corporates. Jerry has more than 10 years’ experience in taxation. His experience also includes accounting and client services.

Jerry is a qualified CPA and CA (Chartered Accountant). Jerry’s experience includes working with both private clients and large corporations. Clients’ profile includes high wealth private group, lawyers, doctors, fashion, manufacturing, retails, and marketing, etc. Jerry has been focusing on helping clients with tax compliance services to a wide range of clients and industries. The services include Direct Tax (Income Tax, Fringe Benefit Tax, Capital Gain Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST and Land Tax).

EMILY CHASE | Research & Development Manager
Emily is CPA qualified, experienced R&D professional with an extensive experience working with life science, software, manufacturing, and medical device clients of all sizes.

As the R&D Manager at Azure Group Emily has had the opportunity to dive into a range of businesses to assist with their R&D claims, including software development, food manufacturing, and automotive manufacturing.

he is passionate about taking the R&D journey with her clients from the beginning feasibility stage through to commercialisation, whilst being highly vigilant about on time delivery of R&D credit claims as many businesses rely on their R&D refund to continue their development efforts.

Her expertise across many facets of technology gives her ability to apply that knowledge to her clients’ business and deliver fresh, cutting edge and value driven advice and service.
